Made it to yorkton. Got in about 1:20 or so. right now im just at dads, updating my journal, wishing i could stay a bit longer than a couple days. I'm here till sunday, i gotta figure out whether i want to stay until later on sunday or not.

Finally bought some new shoes and headphones. (I had a walmart gift card from last year and havent used it yet, yay!) my old shoes had holes in the bottom so water and jank would leak into my socks and it sucked :(

So far ive been having a good time. Hope the trend continues ;) The plan for tonight is to head out to the Jopko's, and drop off a few items for them i gathered. Going to be fun! they invited me for bratwurst! hehehe Then its off to moms for a visit. :D

Tomorrow, ill be in regina, visiting my auntie. after that, well, i gotta figure it out lol

Hey everyone! It's been way too long since I've updated.

I'm going to be in Yorkton from January 4th - 6th. Most likely not sleeping any of those days ;)

Other than that, not much is new. Had a good Christmas here with the Hall's, we went to many friends places and had lots of foodstuffs. It was fun. Now, I head to home for Christmas in January! lol.

Anyway, if you're in the area, gimme a shout and I'll try to hang with ya! I'll either be at my dads or my moms, so if you want numbers jsut email me. I'll get them to you. :)

Hehe. Yes, I am alive. I'm ding fairly well actually - let me give y'all an update.

I am quitting at Printwest Communications, to start at Minacs, where I'll be doing tier 1 tech support. It's alot better of an environment, and it's cleaner. What I do at Printwest right now is bundle and stack the material we print off, as well as various other duties around the plant, like throwing out the waste paper into the giant recycle bins, cleaning things that get inky with solvent (which is messy lol) and stuff like that. it's a pretty easy job. At minacs, ive got the opportunity to get paid more, and advance more. I hopefully would like to become a manager or something. hehe, one can always hope.

Band wise, we're playing this Sunday, December 09, at the Roxy on Broadway. We're gonna need lots of prayer on this one, since its a pretty big stronghold in this city, lots of dark stuff there. on the plus side though, Jerrek, a once-leader of a satanic coven is coming closer and closer to meeting Jesus, and he has stopped practicing and i consider him to be a very good friend of mine. were 'comrades' lol hes a really great guy. fun to hang around with. dresses immaculately too. hehe.

Mainly I've been pretty busy with work, and when I'm not working vie been doing alot of babysitting for Leanne and Curtis lately. I'd probably get out more often if i had a car, but because I'm broke and car less, i pretty much just stay at home and hang out with everyone here.

Tatianna has moved in with us, shes taking the discipleship course as well. the boys have moved into my room, so theres a huge curtain up where our rooms separate, lol. Its cool. though they always want me to go tob ed at the same time they do, lol, crazy kids. but, i love em. they're fun to babysit.

I'm back at Hope Fellowship, regularly in fact. I really like that little church, going to make it my home church. Next time they have a members meeting I'm going to go and become a member. I don't plan on going anywhere anytime soon as far as that goes, so it looks like I'll be staying at hope. hehe
I am hoping that I'll be able to go to the mens breakfasts that Hope fellowship holds every Wednesday, and connect with some of the guys there.

Christmas plans....hmm. I don't really have any at the moment. I'd like to be able to make it down to Yorkton, but we'll see how i am doing financially. word of advice: don't borrow from people. it kills you. lol Although, I would like to buy people presents, so guys if you have any ideas..I'll do what I can. No promises though lol

Something God's been teaching me about alot lately is to be myself. I realize alot of people don't know me for who I am. They just see me on the outside. I am sensing that God is calling me out to be who I am, who He wants me to be. To be a strong man of God, and a loving, tender servant. I'm not much of a leader or a pastor or a teacher, but I can sure bring you close to my heart and love on ya. I do like to pray for people as well, so if you have any prayer requests..I'll lift you up. ;) hehe

Other than that, I'd like to be able to update this thang more often...been in my shell too long. gotta break free more often than every few months. :p blessings!

Wow, it's been a long time since I've updated this.

I haven't updated in so long I don't know where to start, lol So, here we go, random explosion of whatever comes out hahaha

Well, I'll start with the BC tour. I went with Psalm 91 on a BC tour. we played about 6 shows, and the rest of the time we were visiting Leanne's friends and meeting new people. We played at (in no order whatsoever) Friends Langley Vineyard with She Says Electric, House of James, Freshwind Christian Fellowship, House of James, Cultus Lake waterslides (night sliding EH!) and in Peachland. I can't remember the towns name. But it was small. loool. I bought some cool shirts there, I'll have to post some piccies. :P Speaking of, Josh Hines, Leanne's best bud, took some pics at our Cultus show. I'll post em when I get em. :) I learned alot about my fellow rock starz, and i spent alot of the time in a packed Grand Caravan. It's not so roomy when you've got 4 adults and two children crammed in with a full load of gear. Played alot of music. Grew as a band. Busted some punk who stole a porsche. (that was fun haha) Saw downtown Vancouver. (wish i had had a camera :( ) Ate Thai for the first time. and had some freaky carrot juice that rocked my socks.

Myself, I am doing alright. Got some big issues to work on (i.e. insecurities, lying, beating myself up) but I am really happy with where I'm at. I feel like music is my dream, my passion, and I'm going for it. Let God lead me wherever I go, and hopefully I get to shred some faces off with my guitar :) Meghan and me are doing okay. We've got some things to work on, but we're still going strong on keeping our boundaries.
Need to work on dumping on Jesus rather than everyone else. After all, who else better than the friend who can take your backpack full of shit and toss it into a lake of burning sulfur? hehe. I've really gotta get working on getting online more, talking to friends more, etc. I mean, facebook is cool, but its not an excuse for not hanging out! So yeah. I guess through the next little while I'll be attempting that. :p so bear with me if i accidentally don't update for another month ;)

man, thats all i can think of. a month of stuff and i hardly have the attention span for an update. argh. lol my brain must be degenerating. Anyway, love you guys, and i will update more consistently.

Hey all;

So this weekend I'm going with Zone 61 (the youth group I'm a part of) to YC Edmonton. We're leaving this friday at 7 AM, and returning sometime on monday. After that, Psalm 91 is leaving for the border, headed to Colorado to do a few shows down south, and Shane gets to go see his girl, Mattea. I'm pretty pumped man, I can't wait to go down there and play.

I also want to invite everyone out to our last Godrock at HCF, it's on June 15th and if you need directions, lemme know. Also, on June 18th is a benefit concert PS91 is doing to help build orphanages in Africa. 20% of what we make goes towards it. It will be held at the Odeon events center here in Stoon, @ $15 a ticket for the steak or chicken dinner. then then band Kyle Rae plays, and then us. then after there will be someone speaking.

I hope that you guys can come, it would be awesome to see you there!

Hey guys and gals - had some time to give an update on my life.

Psalm 91 is going on tour in Colorado at the end of this month, from May 28th - June 08th. In tour in BC from July 28th - August 10th. Also a benefit concert we are playing for Hope For At Risk Children (HARC) and 20% of what we make is going to help build orphanages in Gulu, Africa. More tour info will be posted once I know it.

Work is tough - but I'm glad I'm getting the time off I need for the tours. I'm learning how to do fly position on both presses again, instead of just the Nebiolo, I'm also on the Urbanite press.

I'm also learning alot about God's mercy and love for us. Seems I keep falling into some old addictions, and keep yielding when I know better. I'm slowly changing, I admit, but I also fall now and then. Meh, I am human. I'm not perfect, but that doesn't excuse it :p

Been playing guitar alot more, which is good. Makes me happy in my heart :D

Haven't found any shows in Yorkton, so if anyone tehre has some leads of where we could play , that would be great! The Red Door hasn't answered yet, so I don't know what's going on there.

Hmmm..what else. I miss you guys, all you peopleses who read this. Been wanting some more free time to hang out.

I guess that's about it...thought I had more :P

This entry is the only warning youll ever get, since I've no reason to hide what i believe, but ill lj cut it so you can choose not to read it :P

Today was an awesome day. Me and Leanne and Devon went on a road trip to regina to have coffee with Ralph, one of the apistolic guys from our church network. I never really got to know him yet so I thought it was pretty cool.

The guy is pretty much what I'm gonna be like iwhen I'm 60. Seriously. I'm going to be driving a sports car blaring loud music. He's got a saying "If its too loud, youre too old!" and hes SIXTY!!!

this guy is awesome hehe. so we spent about four horus there, then went to Leanne's nephews house. Man, those guys are cool there. Course, it was in Caronport so like, I'd never been there before and I kinda missed the smell of cowpoo (haha, right!)

and yeah, eventful day, lots of driving. man, on the way back though, we were just after chamberlain and all of a sudden it looked like everything was getting darker, and i felt really tense, so like, i asked leanne and shes like 'yeah, i get it too' and then i physically felt like i was getting tunnel vision, like something was causing me to black out, so we prayed and then like seconds later, it went away nearly completely. kinda like when we went camping back last year. ugh, warfare. sometimes the enemy can be a n00b! lol but praise jesus though, cause dood that was scary.

This parts the really important part:

I've come to the realization (damn im blonde sometimes) that ive pushed some of my friends away, because of bad time management and just a real big lack of responsibility to them. so i do want to apologize (i will also be apologizing in person to those i can) and guys, man, i love you all so much. i really do. i didnt mean to push you away, so, jsut so you know my heart, i really do want to talk with you, so i will be making time to call you guys or msn you, or email or something. I do want to stay in contact. its not my heart to lose any friends, regardless of belief, color, or anything. so i deeply apologize if i have offended anyone.

That said, i need sleep. I've been thinking about how to say that for a while now. and yes i listen to my own music. its groovy. :)

so my new schedule (I quit maritz) is now MON TUE WED 6am - 6pm at Printwest Communications. I get four days off after! but im super busy with band and church stuff. I'm a fly boy! that means i do most of the dirty work, like stacking newspapers and magazines, picking up garbage, cleaning the screens, sometimes washing blankets, etc. It's totally amazing and its $10 an hour! yeah!

Well, a few people have asked me when I became Christian, so I figured I'll post about it.

Well, it all started back in February of 2006. when i was living at the boys house (Dan, Brad, and Walker at the time) we had hung out with some people from Campus for Christ, a campus organization of Christians whose goal is to reach university students. I met a whole bunch of people, and we all hung out regularly. ( I miss those days already lol) anyway, I hadn't recommitted my life or anything, I just respected the fact that these were Christians. So one day, Natasha asks me if I'd like to go to her church one Sunday. Kind of feeling like I was going to feel out of place, because at the time i believed in no religion, and no god, and was happy in my little bubble. I was never an atheist. I just didn't want to believe. anyway, so i decide ah what the heck, it cant hurt. i mean the worst that could happen is i walk out right?

well, turns out that the sermon that was preached that day was exactly how i felt about religion, exactly how i felt about my life and where it was headed, and so I nearly broke into tears because of all my feelings were like a big ball of yarn, tha I couldn't see the individual feelings, but I somehow felt God saw that ball of yarn as just one long piece of string, rather than a big ball of yuck like I saw.

So, I went home and cried that night. I saw all my crap, and I cried. I felt like I was a horrible person, even though I've always tried to be good, tried to do honest things, but I failed somewhere. About a month later of attending the services searching for some way to help deal with my newly formed ball of yarn, Natasha gives me a bible. A personalized bible. My name written in gold. We were sitting in church and she pulls out this box, and gives it to me and says "here" and gives me an excited look. Inside is an New International Version bible. leather cover, and gold edged pages, and my name written boldly on the front. I couldn't speak, I had no words. People had bought me gifts, yes, but..this gift was different. It wasn't like a random gift you give to someone you care about, its something you give to someone that can and will change their life!

Anyway, so about another week or two later i'm in church, and at this point i needed a job (F-ing Zellers). So, i mentioned a small prayer, just "hey, uhm, God, I need a job..." and so then this guy leans over to Kathleen and says "do you know anyone looking for a job?". My eyes widened and i said "yeah hey, i am, but i start a new job tomorrow" and so he says 'well, give me a call if it doesn't work out' and then he gives me his card and the next thing that happened was amazing. Monday morning, I'm supposed to head over to north ridge landscaping to start my new job, my alarm doesn't go off. I'm an hour and a half late for work, and im freaking. so i phone the supervisor. he says "it doesn't look good being late your first day.." and im like "i know..should i still come out?" he goes "oh, its okay, someone came in we weren't expecting, so you don't need to worry about it" and then we ended the conversation. So I phone Mark, the guy who asked if i needed a job, and I explained my story and he said 'can you be ready in half an hour?"

And so began my 3 and a half month discipleship with mark. it was informal, kind of like a friend teaching a friend, but he taught me alot about god, we talked every single day about god, how he works, what he does for his people, even how science and creationism are intertwined to a degree. in June though, Mark was getting sick of Chris, the owner of the business, and decided he'd had enough. So, he put in his resignation, and i became crew manager. Mark had been wanting to start his own care home with his wife anyway. so, that worked out good for him. Hes now doing well and we still chat every once in a while. The guy is very close to my heart.

Then, comes along Jeremy and Leanne. I needed a bass player for an event Mark was organizing and i had gathered a couple people to play a few worship songs. so Mark gives my Jer's number, i phone him up, and enter bass player. the event was fun, and awesome. Psalm 91 played too (it was a different sound back then aha) There i also met Andrew and Tenille, two of the now youth leaders. They invited me out to Leannes, and i went, and then for some reason i didn't go back for about two or three months. guess i just wasn't ready to go to a youth group yet.

I'll continue this later, I'm really feeling horrible.

in other news, I must've ate something weird, cuz yeesh i feel gross. I doubt I'll be working today :s

So I've gotten the dayshift at work. It's pretty cool sof ar, there's only 9 of us actually working day shift, so we get to do one project for an hour or two, then switch to another project, and our CPH (completes per hour) is LOW so thats why.

On the other hand, Jeremy didnt get day shift so now our schedules are messed up, which means he needs to be up and have me to work by 7:45, and then go back t bed until he has to work at 4. lawl.

so, my schedule is monday to friday, 8am until 4pm. Which kicks butt cuz i was getting tired of not having a life. :P

So yeah! not much else to report i guess, other than i had been prayin for this for a while and i got it, so God is good, hehe.

I'll update more later.

Well, I guess I better update this thinger.

Tonight was the last night in the studio for us AFAIK. So the rest from here on out is mastering, printing, and touring and selling.

I started my new job at Martiz Research on monday, its a telephone survey company (not sales or credit related) and basically we ask questions to people whoa re willing to answer all day.

that and it pays good and has fleeeeexible hours. (good for me, sicne im always on the go and enver sure when i have time to do anything but discipleship or band stuff)

Band's coming along good, had a good meet with everyone tonight, we can't wait for radisson on the 12th of Jan

I've been learning a lot about opening and closing doors biblically

I got a funky shirt from Jer, I'll get a pic soemtime :P

uhm..yeah i donno what else i can say really

i need a car, lol, thats about it :P

Hey guys and gals!

Everything (well almsot) is going so awesome! the album is going to be a total smash man, serious it's gonna rock!!! We recorded some kick ass stuff these pastf ew days adn it's totally obvious that God ahs a plan for us, where we're going and all.

but we're not even close to the end. Radisson (assuming we can get out there, stupid snow lol) is going tob e fun, and maybe we can fit some people on the bus!!! woot

school..well..im done. ive decided im done because i cant do it right now, im juggling too mcuh and spending too mcuh time NOT studying and working on band stuff and babysitting and working (only on tuesdays but its still valid) that i'm running out of time. so i figure i'm going to drop the studying, get a better job and work off the little debt ive got left. I'll look back on my textbooks every now and again, set aside some time to study teh stuff, finish the workbooks etc, but right now..i jsut cant.

Other than that, things are going pretty good! ive had the chance to meet some amazing people at c4c this past while and theyre all awesome =]

Wow it's been a while.

So I've moved out of the guys' house, and moved in with Leanne and Jeremy, and we live on 230 Vanier crescent, which is off Diefenbaker drive. It's hella far from anything, but so far it's been pretty darn cool. Rent' is only $200 for now, but it might go up to $220 because of how mcuh food we all eat. ;)

I've been learning more shredding and stabs on my guitar, and me and Jer came up with a wicked metal type song, and I incorporated a Lightning Force 4 sounding riff that made it sound sweeet. :p If we get a drummer, we're starting a fantasy-80's-metal project. :0) hehehe

I also was bored on the bus and drew a DART bus from 2156. It's so...wierd. lol I jsut need to ink it and scan it and then it'll look mcuh ebtter. I love concepting stuff...=]

Last ngiht I had 8 or 9 cups of coffee and crashed hard at about 3 am. Felt good to do that for once, I hadn't for a long time. For the past 6 months it's been up at 7 am, bed at 12 or 1. lol

The band is in the studio on friday (tomorrow) and..I hope things go through and we ge our album done. We're losing Tyson (drummer) right after because he wants to get more involved with his church, he's a youth leader there and his responsibilities are getting bigger, so keep us in your prayers that we will still be able to do what we do, outreaching and playing some kick ass music.

Other than that, I really only have to say.....

I get to wear my santa hat! =]
